Ah, a long weekend! And bonus, we’re getting a slight cool down right now for a little taste of fall. I’m sure it’s not the end of the heat yet but I’ll enjoy the comfortable temps while they’re here.
Just a few giveaways happening right now but next week is filled with them, so be sure and come back.

For a long weekend, I love to have something on the grill, potatoe salad and maybe a homemade cake. I guess I’m a homebody and don’t really like crowds.
Yum! That sounds like a nice quiet weekend. I’m not a fan of the crowds either.
Nothing much beats reading!
I whole heartedly agree!!
At home just doing normal stuff with the hubs and kids. Enjoying the time together.
No matter how much we want to relax, taking a break from life just doesn’t happen, does it? I hope you enjoy your weekend with your family.
I love watching the start of college football with my feet up and a cold glass of tea.
Sounds like a nice way to relax (well, unless it’s a close game)
On a long weekend, I try to find extra reading time!
Me too! Especially since I was pet sitting last week and didn’t get as much in as I wanted.
Relax and read a good book=)
If my husband happens to be from we might take a drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway or one of the nearby towns (Asheville or Hendersonville).
Relax and read a good book are on my agenda too!
I love all that Remembrancy does! Thank you for sharing all the books. So many that I would love to read. ❤
Thanks for the kind words! I love sharing great books with other readers!
Long weekends are meant for reading!
I 100% agree!
Goimg hiking up in the mountains with my family and a yummy BBQ.
Sounds like great weekend plans!
Long weekend? Ummm…get some extra sleep in and catch up on anything I’ve gotten behind in.
Sleep, yes!! And long weekends are good for catching up.
Great books. Thanks for the chance.
my pleasure!
On this long weekend, I have taken time to read, drink coffee, and spend time with my husband and 4 dogs.
What a wonderful weekend!
My favourite way to spend a long weekend would be on a short road trip to a neighbouring city. A little shopping, eating at restaurants we don’t have near us, a trip to Barnes and Noble, and I’m refueled and recharged!
Short road trips are great!
Spending time with Family, eating good food and reading.
Enjoy!
My favorite way to spend a long weekend is to have a barbecue with family, watching the kids play and then just having some quiet time reading and having coffee.
Fabulous weekend plans (less the coffee. I’m not a fan, LOL).
Lying around the house or outdoors with family! A short ride to our rocky coastline is nice too! Love the time with my family.
All good options! Hope it’s a great one!
I like spending time with my adult children, reading and relaxing.
Sounds like the perfect long weekend.
More reading of course! Doing fun things with my kids.
More reading is on my agenda too!
I love to end my weekend by going through my planner (I am traditional and still like a paper one) and getting it ready for the upcoming week. I see what all is coming up, what I need to accomplish, etc.
I use the computer for a lot of my commitments but I also tend to write them down (repeatedly). There’s just a connection between my brain and putting pen to paper that doesn’t work with the computer. Hope your upcoming week is productive!
I usually catch up on some yard work, do some cooking, and always try to be sure to have lots of reading time.
Hope you got all of that in this past weekend!
Long weekends are so wonderful! I love to take a nap each day, and spend one of the afternoons at the campground or hiking in the woods with my family.
