Week in Review 7/21- 7/27 & a Giveaway

July 27, 2019 by Suzie Waltner 21 Comments

Week in Review

The end of July is just around the corner. How did that happen?! Have you happened upon any of the Christmas in July events happening here and there? We’ve still got August to go, but a slight cool down here in Tennessee has me ready for fall already. I’ll just hang out inside and enjoy the AC, pretending it’s October instead.

I stopped by another library book sale last week (different library, lots of books) so my giveaway stack is replenished for a while. I’m thankful for these sales because they not only allow me to share more books with you, they also make it easy to get some backlist books for my own library.

The cool of fall because it gets over 100 here in the summer. Anything over 100 is absolutely miserable.

We get close to 100 but I don’t think we’ve topped it yet this year. And I hope I didn’t just jinx us for August!

I love the fall season as long as it’s not too cold!

Agreed and since I live in the south, it’s rarely too cold 🙂

Overall I prefer the heat of summer, just not the humidity of summer!

Definitely the heat of the summer. Fall means winter is coming and I dread winter so I can’t enjoy fall! Bring on the long summer days, the fresh produce from the garden, and all the festivals and gatherings of summer.

The cool of fall, because the humidity is usually not as unbearable as in the summer.
