We made it to the weekend! I don’t know about you but I had a busy week! Last week I learned that the majority of you are readers only. There were just a couple of you who said you were or were interest in writing. I guess that makes sense since you’re visiting this blog to check out all the books :).
There were a few giveaways this week. Perfect timing with Mother’s Day tomorrow, isn’t it? I love that I can share good books with my mom. She often asks for recommendations because she knows I’m always reading.

I’m celebrating Mother’s Day by making brunch for my mom.
I went away to a church women’s retreat yesterday, which was quite nice. Will have my extended family here to celebrate, which will also be nice.
I am not a mother, but thankfully my mother lives nearby! My sister hosted lunch at her house and I just brought along a side dish to contribute.
I’m not either . Although, I did call my mom!!
Even though I am not a mother, my dad and my sisters and I we went up to the red woods and spent a few days away, walking around and just enjoying Gods beautiful creation. We took mom to a delicious Italian breakfast. And then we drove down the coast on our way home. That was our Mother’s Day.
Sounds like a great time with your family!
I took a nap and didn’t have to cook! Yeah for me!!!!!! Love mothers day
Isn’t it funny how we fought naps as kids but it’s a blessed treat as adults? And yay for no cooking!!
Mom and I went out to eat on Saturday to miss the crowds. Sunday was spent reading.
Sounds like the perfect Mother’s Day! 🙂
It didn’t work to get together on the day so we are celebrating Mother’s Day soon!
My mom lives in New Zealand so the only thing I could do is call her. The day before, my husband and I went to a Saturday market and had lunch together, then he bought me a frosty from Wendy’s. I’d say it was a great Mother’s day weekend!
Thanks for the giveaway chance.
After Church, I just relaxed and read. Hubby fixed dinner.
I received some cute gifts made by my children, then off to church where I revieved a tulip and some Milano cookies, home to take a nap, and then my parents came for a visit. Overall a lovely Mother’s Day!
My husband and our two daughters spoiled me with love, homemade dinner, and gifts!
