How did it get to be May already? Well, in a way, I’m glad we’re there. April was a month of waiting for me. I found it fitting that the second Sunday our sermon study of James talked about patience. I do have some exciting news, though! One of the things was waiting on was the results from the Love Inspired Author Search. I sent in my first chapter and synopsis and was thrilled to get an invitation to round 2, which was a request for a full manuscript. Who knows, in a year or so I could be giving away copies of my own book.
With the need for dedicated writing time (my deadline to finish and submit my full manuscript is Aug 1), things may taper off here over the summer. But probably not too terribly much because I’ve already committed to several reviews through August. There just may be a day or two on certain weeks I don’t get a post up.
Well, that was a lot of detail when all you stopped by to see what you might have missed this week :). The good news is it was a full one! Click on the picture to get to information about that book and/or giveaway.

I already am a writer but I love being a reader now! It’s just fun being both.

I am firmly in the reader only camp. Thanks for the chance!
I am most definitely just a reader! While I appreciate a well woven story with plot twists and action and/or romance, I couldn’t begin to write one!
I am also in the reader category. I do hope to write someday, but while my children are young, I’m content with reading and enjoying them.
