I pray everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday It’s been a really quiet week here at Remembrancy. Between the holidays, company, and reading/reviewing for Hope by the Book magazine, I didn’t have much time to read and review for the blog, so there’s not a whole lot to share this week. There is one book giveaway and my weekly giveaway, though. I dropped my visitors off at the airport this morning and am now catching up a bit because January is going to be jam-packed with books and bookish goodies!

Reviews, Spotlights, and More with Giveaway

Giveaway ends 1/3/19
Well, I thought I’d done a little better than two books but that’s it for this week! Now it’s time to close out 2018 with a favorite reads list and hit the 2019 releases! But before we go, was there a book on your Christmas list you didn’t get under the tree? I’m giving away a $25 Amazon gift card this week so you can fill that bookshelf back up.
I amlooking forward to The Curse of Misty Wayfair by Jaime Jo Wright. It releases on 1/22.
Me too! Jaime Jo Wright writes some great eerie stories, doesn’t she?
I honesty am not sure what releases I am anticipating. 🙂 There are still some from 2018 I need to read like, Cynthia Ruchti’s Miles From Where We Started or Jamie J Wright’s, House on Foster Hill.
Thanks for the chance at this giveaway.
There are a few 2018 and early releases I’m still trying to get too as well!!
I can’t wait to read Gingerbread by Helen Oyeyemi in 2019.

I’m looking forward to all of those as well!

I’m looking forward to reading The Curse of Misty Wayfair. I preordered it so I’m anxiously waiting to receive it!
The Best of Us (Sullivan’s Crossing Series #4) sounds interesting, would read that, coming out soon.
Top of my list is… Ladies of Intrigue: 3 Tales of 19th-Century Romance with a Dash of Mystery by Michelle Griep!!
I am currently reading “An Improbable Pairing” by Gary Dickson, which Amazon lists as a January 8, 2019, release. It’s a very believable period story, circa 1963, about an American graduate student in Switzerland having a romance with a sophisticated countess. The character of the countess, the way she speaks and acts, is very true, I think. (Not that I have met any international high-society circa-1963 countesses.) I’m not sure if it counts as a “clean” romance, because the characters do conduct amours, but there are no coarse descriptions of liaisons, so that’s a plus! I find the book very entertaining.
I am so far behind that I haven’t even looked at 2019 releases yet.
So many books, so little time. I’m looking forward to Code of Valor, Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe, Curse of Misty Wayfair, The Line Between, Between Two Shores, Breach of Trust, and Never Let Go in the next month.
A Bound Heart by Laura Frantz, Ladies of Intrigue by Michelle Griep, A Return of Devotion by Kristi Ann Hunter, Daisies and Devotion by Josi S. Kilpack, The Printed Letter Bookshop by Katherine Reay… just to name a few!
All on my list too!!
I am looking forward to With this Pledge by Tamera Alexander, and Sweet on You by Becky Wade. Many more of course, but I think those two top my list.
Two books in a week would be a busy reading week for me! I am looking forward to releases by Karen Witemeyer and Becky Wade in 2019.
Never Let Go by Elizabeth Goddard, The Curse of Misty Wayfair by Jaime Jo Wright and A Silken Thread by Kim Vogel Sawyer. I’m sure I’ll add to this list as new books come out…lol!
Thank you for the giveaway chance.
