I don’t know about you, but it was hard working a full five-day week this week after the holidays! On the bright side, I feel like I’m finally back on my reading stride. Are you wondering how I get so many books read in a week? Well, audiobooks help! I listen to them constantly when I’m at the office which means I can knock an extra two or three books off that TBR! Also, some of the “books” I read are actually novellas which can usually be read in one evening. And finally, other than errands, chores, church, the gym, and blogging for next week, my weekends are committed to reading time. I don’t watch television anymore, so all of that time is now committed to staying on top of a constantly teetering TBR. Oh, it also helps that I am single and have no husband or kids interrupting my quiet time 🙂

My favourite is romance – either contemporary or historical but I do read a variety because variety is the spice of life. Thanks for explaining how you get so much read. I heard one woman mention that she finished a 350 page book in 2 hours and I was floored. With working full-time, a long commute each way (and yes, I do listen to audio books while I drive), and then LIFE, I’m doing well if I get two books read each week.
I saw that post too. I am by no means a speed reader but I do have more time than others because I’m a single gal
If asked I would say historical fiction/romance is my favorite genre, but this past year I read much more contemporary romance/fiction.
I prefer a mix of clean historical & humor.
I usually go for historical fiction, but I do read other genres.
My go-to genre is mystery/suspense.
My favorite is Inspirational Historical Romantic fiction. 🙂 But I do read a wide variety, as long as it’s Christian fiction and contain some kind of romance!
Thanks for the giveaway chance!
Favorite genre is clean romance, first contemporary then historical.
I like contemporary romance.
