Welcome back, friends. We’re getting a cold snap over the weekend here in Tennessee (right at the tail end of Spring Break, too). I don’t mind, though. The weather gives me more motivation to keep plugging away at my edits (due next weekend).

Hello, friends! How was your week? I hope all was well. My retreat last weekend was fantastic but also mentally and emotionally draining in the best kind of way. I really enjoyed spending the weekend getting to know the ladies I’ve spent the last seven months growing with even better.
Now I’m focused on edits for book three of my series this month. I’ll most likely wrap them up and get them back right as book two releases in April. Busy times for me, but again, in a great way.
I’m way behind with contacting giveaway winners. My plan is to reach out this month and get everything mailed next weekend. This is why I decided at the beginning of the year I would give myself grace and time to reach out to everyone. I promise that winners will get their books.

Here we are at another weekend. I had a great week. A week and a half ago I received copy edits from my publisher for my April release. I wrapped those up over the weekend. Tuesday was my 50th birthday (yep, it was a big one). I went into the office and celebrated with co-workers then I went to Bible study and celebrated some more. My day ended with an email from my editor with content edits (the big ones that take about a month to get through) for the third book in my series. Guess I know what March will hold for me.
I am at a church retreat this weekend, so it will take me a little longer (probably Sunday afternoon) to approve comments. Just wanted to give you a little heads up on that.

Welcome to the weekend, friends. Can you believe February is almost over? I’m looking at the bright side and rejoicing we’re that much closer to spring! I have a busy couple of days ahead of me as I received copy edits for my April 4 release. They’re due back to my publisher by March 1 but I’m pushing to wrap them up this weekend.
Next weekend I’m headed to a women’s retreat for the intensive study I’ve been participating in at my church since September and am really looking forward to getting away for a couple of days.
