Happy Saturday. I’m heading up to Bowling Green, Kentucky today to lend support to one of the ladies who is in our local writing chapter. She’s leading a workshop on preparing for an agent appointment at a writing conference then sitting on a panel about Christian fiction at the Southern Kentucky Bookfest. I’m looking forward to just spending some time with other readers and writers today before I get back and dive back into my own writing.

If it takes me a little while to approve comments this afternoon, it’s probably because I’m driving back to Nashville from there.

It was a quieter week for giveaways, which we’ll chalk up to spring break, but there are a few good ones right now.

Week in Review: 2/28/2022 to 3/5/2022 & a Giveaway

What a week I’ve had! As I mentioned last week, we went back to the office. And let me tell you, that has taken some getting used to. It’s probably been six or seven years since I’ve had to go into the office more than once a week and oh boy, have I gotten out of my routine. I am exhausted and grateful for the weekend (even if it’s a busy one for me).

But there were a couple highlights this past week, too. My small group from church met up for brunch on Sunday. I’m just joining the group, and this was a great way to meet some of the other ladies in the group. My birthday was on Monday, so I celebrated with co-workers.

What are you doing this weekend? My plans include a lot of writing and brunch with my small group after church tomorrow. I’m also going to have to figure out the logistics of heading back to the office (after working from home the past two years) as we go back on Monday. While it will be wonderful to see everyone, heading back will require a little more planning as life has changed over the past two years.

Welcome back! I made it back home last weekend and feel like I’m back into my usual routine. I hope everyone is staying safe and warm with this newest winter storm system hitting the US. We only got rain and cold weather in Nashville, but we’ve had our share of snow already this year.
