When Grace Railton returns to the town of Indian Lake, she has a surprise for Mica Barzonni. One she realizes she should have shared before standing in front of him with their infant son.

At first, Grace seemed a little selfish to me. After all, she’s dropping her son with his father in order to get caught up at work in time for fashion week. But, through Mica’s eyes, I came to see her drive and determination. Her motive behind her single-minded focus is to provide a good life for her son.
Then there is Mica—the lone, brooding hero who is softened by a baby boy. Despite the many changes in his life, Mica also wants what’s best for the baby. And what’s best is for his mother and father to be together.

As Grace struggles with her unrequited love for Mica and he works through feelings of inadequacy (and a little jealousy), these two discover what they want most out of life looks different than it did before little Jules entered the picture. Tragedies happen and dreams change, but someone standing beside you makes life’s twists and turns worth the journey.

About the Author

She is an outspoken advocate for domestic violence and abuse and was honored by The National Domestic Violence Hotline in Washington, D.C. (THE EVOLVING WOMAN). She has been a guest on numerous radio programs including “Coast to Coast” and on television interview and talk show programs as well as blogs, podcasts and online radio interview programs.
