Happy weekend reader friends! I am finally back on my schedule after a week away visiting my family and a few friends (just in time for the long weekend to throw my back off).
Even though I was away, there was a ton happening in the bookish community, and I don’t want you to miss any of it.

I celebrated Valentine’s Day with the sisters from my church. It was such a beautiful time, blessed of God. We each shared how God has shown His love to us in the past year.
Still celebrating on a cruise!
I celebrated by attending a worship gathering then lunch with friends afterwards.
I celebrated Valentine’s Day by having a delicious steak dinner that my husband cooked for me. Then we watched a movie together. 🙂
I get new valentine story books for my kids, and some special chocolates.
I celebrated Valentine’s Day by buying myself clearance Dove Ice Cream Gelato bars are the grocery store. #singleasthedayislong #treatyoself
Our church had a banquet on Thursday night. Friday I took my husband to the airport; he flew to visit his mum for the weekend. It was a quiet evening at home for me. I watched Persuasion and read.
Yes. We went out to lunch and exchanged cards and candy and then I went to work!
I had a special lunch with family.
Beautiful covers
Went out to dinner with the hubby and exchanged cards and small gifts (including chocolate)!
Thank you for the giveaway chance!
Top of my TBR is “The Brightest of Dreams” by Susan Anne Mason : -)
We visited our daughter and her family, and it was fun to be with little ones on Valentine’s Day. They were excited to take valentines to their friends. My husband and I don’t usually do much for Valentine’s Day. We go out to lunch or dinner the day before when it’s not so crowded.
We celebrated with our kids with pizza and games. We also made heart shaped sugar cookies. My husband and I went out for a nice dinner together earlier in the week.
Not really. I had a quiet night reading books.
That was my evening too 🙂
We taught a class of Asian students for Malaysia Baptist Seminary and gave them all kinds of love!
I made a nice dinner for the family and bought a small cheesecake to share and made homemade strawberry topping for it. We tend to avoid the restaurant madness on Valentine’s Day, so we ate at a nice restaurant on Saturday to use up a Christmas gift card and celebrate Valentines.
Stayed at home and ate pizza with hubby…love being home!
We don’t celebrate valentine’s day, because our anniversary is just before valentine’s day and we prefer to celebrate our anniversary instead.
Much less crowded about town, I’m sure.
We usually do something after Valentine’s Day but my husband always remembers he is good like that after 25 years of marriage that is pretty good. Thanks for the chance.
