Can you believe it’s the final Friday of October? This month, I’ve been enjoying some of the new Christmas reads coming out. This week I’m doubling up the first lines from two novellas in Western Christmas Wishes from the Love Inspired line. You can read my review of this book here.
About the Book
Two tales of holiday homecoming.
Spend the holidays with family in these two Western novellas!
Home is where the heart is in His Christmas Family when Laurel Adams comes home and discovers a foster kid and a seriously charming horse trainer living on her grandmother’s ranch. And in A Merry Wyoming Christmas, single mom Leann Bowden is starting over when she and her daughter are rescued from a snowstorm. Might the dashing cowboy be the Christmas gift they’re dreaming of?
Now it’s your turn! Grab the book nearest you and drop the first line in the comments. Then head over to Hoarding Books and discover what others are sharing this week!
This sounds like a nice and cozy, Christmas story!
I am a fan of Love Inspired books!
I’m sharing the first line from Stitches In Time by Suzanne Woods FIsher on my blog this week. I’m on chapter 4 so I’ll share the first line of that chapter here. “Later in the week, Luke drove by the Bent ‘N Dent one afternoon and slowed the horse.” I hope you have a nice weekend and lots of reading time!
So interesting!!! I’m loving the lines! Happy Friday!!

It was Clayton Harrison’s fifty-fifth birthday and everyone in west Texas must have come to the celebration.
On my blog, I’m featuring The Elusive Miss Ellison by Carolyn Miller. Here, I will share the first line in Chapter Nine of my current read, It All Started at the Masquerade by Janice Cole Hopkins. Melanie awoke to find Gemona sitting beside her bed watching her.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Twenty-four hours ago, Jude Stephens had his life figured out. This is from “Reunited in the Rockies” by Mindy Obenhaus. Western Christmas Wishes sounds like a very good book and I love the cover, I would love to read this book.
That was a great book. I have enjoyed that entire series.
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing the first line from Strands of Truth by Colleen Coble: “Lisa ran to her Datsun Bluebird and jerked open the yellow door.”

OH, that one’s on my TBR for next month!
Adding to my tbr list. Thanks for sharing.
