Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally, they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine. If you’re continuing with WOW, feel free to link those up as well! Find out more here.
Happy New Year! I have to say, although it felt a little weird to have a Tuesday at home, I think I could get used to it. Especially since it was another day to read (and my January TBR is already overflowing).
This week I’m looking forward to a February release by an author I’ve followed the past couple of years. She has written for Harlequin’s Love Inspired Suspense line but in February, she starts a brand new series with Revell, which means lengthier books!
As a forensic genealogist, Willow Anderson is following in her late grandfather’s footsteps in her quest for answers about a baby abducted from the hospital more than twenty years ago. The case may be cold, but things are about to heat up when someone makes an attempt on her life to keep her from discovering the truth.
Ex-FBI agent–and Willow’s ex-flame–Austin McKade readily offers his help to protect the woman he never should have let get away. Together they’ll follow where the clues lead them, even if it means Austin must face the past he’s spent much of his life trying to forget. And even if it puts Willow’s tender heart at risk.
In this fast-paced and emotional page-turner, bestselling author Elizabeth Goddard keeps the stakes high, the romantic tension sparking, and the outcome uncertain until the very end.

Are you a fan of romantic suspense reads?
This looks great! I like this particular line of books from Harlequin. Another thing that’s really cool about this story is it reminds me of a true life story hear from my current hometown.
A young girl was kidnapped by a nurse from the hospital in the New York City area back in the late 70s early 80s. She grew up here in Bridgeport not having any clue. On till she wanted to get a job and she requested her birth certificate/Social Security card. That’s when everything got crazy. They even made a lifetime movie. What’s funny is I knew the family of the abducter . Was very good friends with one of the cousins!
Crazy story. Anyways, I know what you mean about being home on Tuesday. I could get used to this too LOL
Sounds like a great read! I hope you enjoy it!
