If you haven’t figured it out yet, I read. A lot. And sometimes in between all of those big, thick, 350 and 400 page books, I need a bit of a break. Enter Heather B. Moore’s Pine Valley series. These reads are short, sweet and the perfect complement to my never-ending TBR pile. But these are easy to squeeze into the rotation.
In My Opinion
Welcome back to Pine Valley with a bit of a Cinderella story.
Everyone seems to know Cameron Vance’s fiancée is wrong for him except for Cameron. But when he gets an unexpected delivery, his eyes are opened wide and he opens up to the kind and pretty cleaning lady his ex had hired to clean his cabin.
When his mom pushes him to invite Jane Morris to a fundraiser gala right after his breakup, Cameron isn’t sure it’s a wise move. Yet, he’s drawn to something about Jane.
Heather B. Moore gives readers a glaring contrast between the ex and Jane. While Jane doesn’t come from Cameron’s world, she is caring, kind, independent, and so much more. Because maybe where you belong has nothing to do with a place and everything to do with a person.
This short and sweet read will have you sighing with contentment by the end. My only complaint was that while Jeff (from Worth the Risk) made a couple cameos, I would have loved to see Alicia by his side.

WHERE I BELONG is Jane & Cameron’s Story
Jane Morris makes a living by cleaning the houses of the wealthy residents of Pine Valley, and she tries hard not to judge their extravagant lifestyles. But when one of her clients goes through a devastating breakup with his fiancé, Jane finds herself in the middle of his emotional mess. She wants to help him, but Cameron Vance is a man she could easily lose her heart to. Jane agrees to be his date to the charity event of the year, organized by Cameron’s mother. But the magical night shows Jane that if she’s a Cinderella, then Cameron is definitely a candidate for Prince Charming.
