Ready or not, welcome to September! It’s still 90 degrees here, but I’m holding onto hope for a cool down soon. My last couple days have been busy, and this coming week will continue that trend, but it’s all great things keeping me this way. I’m currently house/dog sitting for a friend and yesterday I got to meet up with one of my good friends from college and his family for lunch. They are missionaries at a hospital in Togo, West Africa, and last time they were in the states and in my area, I was across the country visiting my family. What a blessing friend are. Some are only in our lives for a season, but they impact us in big ways, don’t they?
This coming Tuesday is release day for Midnight Blue! And on Wednesday, I’m headed for St. Louis for the ACFW conference and Storyfest. I am excited to meet up with both of my critique partners and my Anaiah Press editor as well as other author and reader friends.
With everything going on right now, I haven’t been posting many reviews, but I’ll catch you up on the giveaways I know about.

I do not have a green thumb, more like a brown thumb. So I do not enjoy gardening but appreciate those who do and can.
I am not a gardener. I do enjoy growing succulents and cactus indoors.
I don’t garden or have flower beds but really admire other peoples. I have a black thumb, so I don’t dare even try…lol!
Sounds like you’ve had a busy time Suzie! But seeing friends you hadn’t for a long time sure helped ease that, I bet! Yes I agree, friends no matter how long you’ve known them, sure can impact your life in big ways 🙂
Here’s hoping your life will slow down or get into a easier routine soon!
I am not a gardner. We don’t have a couple of live plants in our house, and between my husband and I they manage to get enough water to stay alive!
I don’t even have plants in my house.
I am not a gardener and I don’t have a green thumb.
Yeah, me and plants do not get along…I’m the person who either drowns or starves a plant…or sucks part of it up in a vacuum cleaner…
No, I don’t enjoy gardening.
I enjoyed gardening in the past but I live in an apartment now with no yard or garden to work with
