Welcome to another weekend!! How was your week? Mine flew by, but I met a friend for dinner last night before we went to a wonderful women’s event at church. What a great way to end the week!
We decided to meet for dinner in downtown Franklin and I walked past this display on my way to the restaurant. I believe the city is starting to decorate for next weekend’s Pumpkinfest.
In other news, I am catching up on the past two months’ backlog of giveaway winners. My plan is to get to the post office today or tomorrow so if you received an email from me that you won a giveaway, book should be arriving this coming week.

I had dinner with friends.
One good thing that happened is that my husband came home safely from a work trip to Japan.
Getting outside to enjoy the beautiful weather
We visited a pumpkin patch with friends. Love this time of year!
I found everything needed for my mother’s birthday gift and also bought a couple of items for making Christmas gifts so now I’m in the mood for crafting.
I enjoyed a relaxing visit to my favorite book store.
My parents were given a very special ‘Faithful Service’ award today at church. I have been so blesses to have them as my parents and enjoyed seeing them honored.
I visited a beautiful place with a log cabin and saw some buffaloes and alpacas!
Had some extra family time over the weekend.
Took our granddaughter to a Trunk or Treat fall festival and had so much fun! We have two more to take her to and it’s the highlight of autumn for us.
