Week in Review 1/16/22 to 1/22/22 & a Giveaway

January 22, 2022 by Suzie Waltner 11 Comments

 Week in Review

Welcome to the weekend, everyone. I’m currently in Idaho hanging out with my parents. My brother and sister-in-law are coming by in a couple of hours to join us. I only get out to see everyone every couple of years, so we make the most of my visits.

Have fun visiting your family! The best advice I’ve ever been given — our late preacher used to say “Save your fork…the best is yet to come.”

My mom said something to me before my grand-girl was born….”don’t move your pretties (knick-knacks), teach her to leave them be”. Best advice ever because when she was the was little, she learned not to touch them.

Thank you for the giveaway chance, Suzie, I have lots of books on my TBR list, lol! The hard part would be narrowing it down to one.

I guess I needed to hear that with the four little ones 🙂

Marriage is not 50/50. It’s 100/100. Both need to put in 100% to work. Also that marriage should be like a triangle with each spouse at a corner and God at the top corner. The closer each person grows to God (along the line of the triangle), the closer they are to each other.
