Top Ten Tuesday: Love of the Game (aka Sports Romances)

February 8, 2022 by Suzie Waltner 5 Comments

This week’s topic is a love freebie, so we are picking our own topics centered around love. With the Olympics happening right now, I thought sports romances would be a fitting topic (plus I like any excuse to talk about hockey). Check out what topics others have come up with by visiting our host at That Artsy Reader Girl.

MMA

After She Falls by Carmen Shober

Baseball

The Thirteenth Chance by Amy Matayo

A Promise Forged by Cara Putman

Football

Catch of a Lifetime by Candee Fick

Her One and Only by Becky Wade

Skiing

Just Let Go by Courtney Walsh

Night Fall by Susan Sleeman

Just Let Go by Courtney Walsh

Hockey

Faceoff (Northbrook Hockey Elite) by Rebecca Connolly, Heather B. Moore, and Sophia Summers

The Breakup Project (Original Six Hockey) by Carolyn Miller

It Had to Be You (Christiansen Family #2) by Susan May Warren

Did I miss any of your favorite sport romances? Let me know in the comments.

I love sports romances, but I haven’t read any of these! I need to write them all down. Thanks for sharing!

Great list!! If you count skating as a sport, I would recommend An Unlikely Pair by Traci Hunter Abramson.

I’m not a sports person, but I do like watching some Olympic events. I don’t read many books about sports, though. AFTER SHE FALLS is one I’m actually interested in.

    Happy TTT!
