At the feet of the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, Becks Porter and Carlos Ramirez are reaching for their dreams. But many hurdles, including their past, a fire, and an injury stand in their way.

The Firefighter’s Christmas Promise by Tanya Agler is filled with familiar faces, Christmas cheer, and plenty of clean romance to cuddle up with. The characters are well rounded—determined but vulnerable Becks and Carlos, the man with a heart of gold for his family and community, make a good team. And little Pippa will steal your heart.

Every book I read by Agler leaves me with the warmth of community and love conquering all. Add in some Christmas fun, and I’m as satisfied and happy as if I’ve eaten a Thanksgiving dinner.
