Have you visited your local Family Christian store lately? Or visited them online? There are some great gift ideas there (not only for stockings but for under the tree). But today, we’re focusing on stockings.
Before we get too far into this post, let me share a helpful tip I read in Get Yourself Organized for Christmas by Kathi Lipp. If your someone who picks up stocking stuff gifts here and there and want to keep track of what everyone has thus far, consider writing your family members’ names on gallon plastic bags, wrap your gifts, and store them until you’re ready to fill the stockings.
And now, here’s are just a few stocking ideas for you (Non Family Christian items were purchased at the dollar store and Walmart and I will provide links to all the Family Christian items in case you find the perfect gift for someone).
For the teenager or music lover in your life
Chris Tomlin’s Christmas CD, Adore, is wonderful. I’ve been listening to it since it came out and haven’t tired of it yet.
Christy Nockels has long been one of my favorite female Christian artists
And how about a journal for devotions or to help them sort out the trials of adolescence.
For a young girl
A few activities to keep her busy and a secret diary
For the little man in your home
A fun card game to play with the whole family:
Or a plaque as a reminder she is loved.
And for the man on the house
Of course, you can always pick up a good book (since this blog is mostly book reviews, I’ll let you roll through and see if anything looks interesting to you)
And if you just can’t think of anything else, you can always go with the gift card standby. And Family Christian is going to help you with that. They have generously offered to give away a $5.00 customer appreciation certificate to 3 different winners on this blog. Enter below.
And don’t forget to check out their great sales!!
I love the notepads. I have one of them, and the pen writes so smoothly.
