IN MY OPINION

If I ever time travel, Rembrandt Stone has provided several lessons on how changing the past affects the future (and I’m sure there will be more lessons to come).

One of the great things about this series is seeing Rembrandt’s personality shaped by his circumstances. He’s still the same guy we met in the first book with his somewhat self-deprecating humor, his honesty and bluntness but he’s also mellowed out. He’s paying more attention to the other people in his life and is less focused on himself.

Somehow the powerhouse that is David James Warren brings a new level with each new book in the series. And we’re only halfway done. The twists, the turns, the characters, the outcomes, the throwbacks, all of it combines for a wild ride that you both want to rush through and savor because the next book is two months away!

And oh my, does this one leave you ready for book four.
