It seems that every month I end up on a romantic suspense kick where I’ll read several in a row. Lynette Eason always produces great reads, and the first book in her new Blue Justice series is no exception.
In My Opinion
Lynette Eason revs her Blue Justice series to full throttle with Oath of Honor. Admittedly, the names were a bit overwhelming at first (this is a big law enforcement family with several partners and connections within that brotherhood) but I caught up fairly quickly.
There are plenty of twists and turns as Izzy St. John and Ryan unearth secrets in their investigation into and Ryan’s brother’s (and Izzy’s best friend and partner’s) death.
I appreciate the history Ryan and Izzy have. A slight twist on the friends to more trope since it’s Ryan has always thought of Izzy and his kid brother’s friend. Yet, Izzy has always had a bit of a crush on Kevin’s big brother.
There are so many strings to pull in this investigation, it was difficult to guess where the next one would lead them. But that’s what made this page-turner so intense and hard to set aside.
And now that I’ve gotten to know the St. John family through one of the siblings, I’m looking forward to where the next one takes me.

More About Oath of Honor
Police officer Isabelle St. John loves her crazy, loud, law-enforcement family. With three brothers and two sisters, she’s never without someone to hang out with–or fight with. And she knows they’ll be there for her when things get tough. Like when her partner is murdered and she barely escapes with her own life.
Determined to discover exactly what happened, Izzy’s investigation sends her headfirst into a criminal organization, possibly with cops on the payroll–including someone from her own family. With her dead partner’s handsome homicide detective brother Ryan shadowing her every move, Izzy’s head is spinning. How can she secure justice for her partner when doing so could mean sending someone she loves to prison? And how will she guard her heart when the man she’s had a secret crush on for years won’t leave her side?

I love Lifetime Movies and crime shows. They are so interesting to me. How our minds works just boggles me. I cannot wait for her movie.
I don’t watch too many crime shows, but one that my husband and I do watch regularly is NCIS: New Orleans. We started watching it because we both love Scott Bakula, and then we got hooked! Thanks for the review and giveaway. I’m so excited Lynette has a new series. She is one of my favorite romantic suspense authors. 🙂
I really don’t watch lifetime movies but I do watch Hallmark and I do like their mystery movies!
I only learned to love crime shows in the past few years. My daughter introduced me to Castle and that was it! I was hooked. Now I watch all the BBC dramas – Endeavour, Vera, Shetland, Scott and Bailey, Death in Paradise, etc.
Unfortunately, I don’t get Lifetime. Will it also be available to purchase on dvd?
I like NCIS and the older show, Forensic Files. We don’t watch a lot of TV, so I’m not as familiar with one’s out now except NCIS.
Thank you for the giveaway chance for Lynette’s Oath of Honor!
