I have a friend who once told me that everyone has an addiction. Confession time. My addiction in workout DVDs. I probably have over fifty but I’m afraid to count to know the true number. I have a few favorite instructors and DVD series that I love and I have a few that I tolerate. In addition to all of the DVDs I own I also take group fitness classes at a local gym a few days a week.
It is through these group fitness classes that I met Angel Faulk (aka The Fitness Angel). Angel is energetic, upbeat and will kick your rear fitness-wise (in a good way). I’ve taken both Zumba and Strength and Toning classes from her and I end up leaving either class feeling like I got my money’s worth because the workouts are just that good.
Angel recently released her first fitness DVD called Fit to Praise. On the DVD is a 28-minute Cardio Dance workout and a 26-minute non-stop toning segment (and I do mean non-stop!). Angel uses upbeat, inspirational music from Hard Step Records on her DVD that will keep you moving and shaking. If you’re short on time, you can do one or the other of the workouts, which is what I do during my lunch break or you can combine the two workouts for almost an hour’s worth of good exercise. You may want to watch the DVD once through to get an idea of what you will be doing as it is fast moving and there’s aren’t a lot of verbal cues. But, if you’ve ever taken a Zumba class, you know that the more often you go, the more comfortable you get with the moves and that is the case with this DVD.
So get ready to sweat and pump some iron because Fit to Praise delivers.
