How to Marry a Country Music Star by Cathryn Brown

February 10, 2020 by Suzie Waltner 1 Comment

About the Book

She’s a country music star who’s lost everything. He’s a billionaire who needs a housekeeper.

Carly Daniels is broke and hiding from the world. But she’s willing to scrub and clean to keep a roof over her head.

Jake Anderson’s grandmother is coming to visit and he needs help, so he hires a housekeeper, a woman who seems to have a secret.

Love definitely isn’t part of the plan.

Everything may not go according to plan.

How to Marry a Country Music Star is a clean and wholesome, fun, contemporary romance. If you love Hallmark movies and romantic comedies like Notting Hill and The Proposal, then you’ll enjoy Cathryn Brown’s sweet romance.

Buy How to Marry a Country Music Star to see if they turn their pretend engagement into a real one!

This clean and wholesome romance has sweet kisses, no sex, and no swearing. The author lives in Nashville, so How to Marry a Country Music Star hits all the right notes.

In My Opinion

If you’re searching for a cute, fun, and clean read with a bit of a fairy tale feel, look no further.

Even though Charlotte has lived the good life at the top of the country music food chain, when circumstances push her out of the high life, she’s got a strong work ethic and doesn’t look down her nose as doing everyday tasks (like cleaning) for herself. This, and her friendly, welcoming nature toward everyone, makes her extremely likable. It’s not hard to figure out why Jake is drawn to her.

My favorite character in this sweet story is Jake’s grandmother. She’s a meddler whose innocent airs aren’t fooling anyone with a few surprises I didn’t see coming.

The glimpses of Nashville, including a little of the country music scene, are spot-on. It will be a treat to see what Cathryn Brown gives readers in the next Nashville Secrets book.
