I’ve kind of been dreading this post because there were just so many good books in 2019 that I am sure I’m going to miss a .few. But, it’s the end of the year and some of y’all have some gift cards to spend, so I’m going to give the 2019 reads my best shot! In order to keep this short and sweet, I’m giving you my top three or four reads in each category (we’ll be a little over 10 but at least you won’t have 100 books to add to your TBR!).
Contemporary
Historical
Dual/Multiple Timeline
Mystery/Suspense/Adventure
Fantasy / Speculative / YA
Debut (or New-to-Me) Authors
Well, I kept it under 25! Are there any of your favorites on the list?
Oh wow!!! What an honor to be included in this amazing list! Thank you!!! Happy New Year ❤️❤️❤️
Some of these have made my lists as well. The Medallion and Memories of Glass were two that were high on my list.
I actually found it a little easier to choose my top three or four in each genre than trying to come up with 10 total or even 10 in each genre!!
Great picks! I’m planning to work on my list tonight!
Good luck with that, Heidi! You and I actually read the same number of books this year 🙂
I haven’t actually made a list yet, but it will include The Medallion, Memories of Glass, Whose Waves These Are, My Dearest Dietrich, All Manner of Things. Well, I guess I’m not going to be able to keep it to 10 either, because I’ve got a lot of others that are going on my list.
Right? So hard to choose and reading is so subjective.
Merci, dear Suzie! And honor to be included on your list. Happy Reading for 2020!
