In My Opinion
Want to know what I like even better than an alpha hero? A woman who is a good match for him. In the second installment of Susan Sleeman’s Cold Harbor series, readers get both.
Kiera Underwood is an intelligent woman, so when she gets a mysterious phone call, she knows something isn’t right and heads to the Oregon coast to try and locate her twin brother. There she runs into Cooper Ashcroft, a man who saves her but neglects to tell her he’s investigating her brother.
The attraction between Cooper and Kiera is evident from the beginning and something neither of them can ignore for long. But as they are embroiled in a madman’s game, can these two individuals learn to trust each other?
Cold Truth has plenty of action to keep the story moving at a fast clip, a hero and heroine you can’t help but root for, a supporting cast you can’t wait to get to learn more about, and plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing until the end. Reads like this one are exactly why Susan Sleeman has become one of my must-read authors.
