About the Book

They can’t both win…
Can they?

Louisiana angler Victoria Thibodeaux needs the spokesperson contract with Romeo Reels to keep her business going and give her daughter a better life. But her hard-won confidence sinks to the bottom of the bayou when her rival, Alaskan fisherman Seth James, arrives. With his smooth-talking charm, handsome Seth could steal both her job and her heart, unless secrets from her past catch up with her first…

In My Opinion

Who knew that a book centered around fishing would be so engaging, but in Catching Mr. Right, Carol Ross combines a competition with a lesson in angling and so much more.

Seth’s friendly nature and easy-going personality are so likable, even his surety he’s got the spokesperson job in the bag doesn’t take away from his likability. Victoria takes a little more warming up to, but it doesn’t take long before you see her walls are meant to protect her bruised heart.

Even Henry (the third person in the competition) is amiable and kind-hearted. Kudos to Ross for not making one of the three a villain and keeping us guessing who would end up with the biggest career catch.

There was so much packed into this book other than the fishing. Family, mistakes of the past, friendship, and of course romance only scratch the surface. Even if you haven’t read the other books in the series, Catching Mr. Right is one book you should pick up.

And please, let there be a book coming that details that little scene with Seth’s sister Hazel and Cricket!
