With two murders to stop, and thirty-eight lives still in the balance, Rembrandt must play his hand against time just right if he wants to win his future. Play it wrong and his life will stay shattered beyond repair.
What sacrifices will he have to make to come home to his wife and daughter?
The stakes have never been higher in the heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat fifth story of the True Lies of Rembrandt Stone.

IN MY OPINION
Every single time I meet up with Rembrandt Stone, I know I’m in for a twisting and wild ride. And Blood from a Stone by David James Warren is the most white-knuckled, knock you over one yet.
When we left Rembrandt last, he was desperate to get back to his past. To right the penultimate wrong in his present. But no matter how the man plans, no matter his determination to beat fate and change the outcome, he is swept back to his present with regrets. And none so much as at the end of this one. Y’all if you’ve been okay with the cliffhangers in the previous four books, this one is the exception!
With only one book left in the True Lies of Rembrandt Stone series, there is a lot to sort out. Will Rem get what he wants most back? Will he learn to be grateful for what he has now instead of regret what he doesn’t have? I, for one, will be right here on the edge of my seat until I find out.
