In My Opinion

A Lighthouse Café Christmas by Jennifer Faye is a sweet second chance romance set on the charming Blue Star Island. Those who have been reading the series will enjoying seeing some old friends, while those who haven’t yet visited the island will get a fantastic introduction to the quaint town and several of the residents.

In high school and college Darla and Will had something special but it ended (for a few reasons). Now, years later, they are together on Blue Star Island for the first time. I enjoyed meeting Darla in Harvest Dance and was thrilled she gets her own story. And while Will is a new-to-me character, he’s not new to the island.

There is definite chemistry between Will and Darla. And from the moment they meet again (although it’s not a happy meeting), I was rooting for this couple. Because what’s better than a romance? One set at Christmas with a horse-drawn sleigh!
