About the Book
She’s desperate to start over. He represents the past she wants to leave behind. But falling in love is never about logic.
USA Today bestselling author Heather B. Moore welcomes you to Prosperity Ranch!
Macie’s divorce has left her at rock-bottom, and she uproots everything and takes her young daughter to visit Prosperity Ranch for the summer. Every kid deserves to know her grandparents, right? Macie hopes for some healing time, even if she is staying at her ex-in-laws ranch. What she isn’t expecting is her ex-husband’s brother, Holt Prosper, to fit every ideal she’s ever hoped for in a man.
In My Opinion
One Summer Day welcomes readers to Texas and Prosperity Ranch. Small towns, cowboys, and the town’s founding family are the focus of the first book in a brand new series from Heather B. Moore.
Macie may be young but she’s grown up quick, beaten down by life. It’s no wonder when she hangs around Holt, who is everything her ex-husband wasn’t, she’s drawn to his kindness, honorability, and respectfulness.
Responsible to a fault, Holt Prosper sat back and allowed his brother to steal the girl. Now she’s living in his parents’ house with her little girl, and he’s not sure what to do. What happened between her and her ex?
This book is packed with plot lines. Many are resolved some will most likely continue through the entire series. A fresh take on second chance romance, One Summer Day is a delightful and fast read that made me smile and sigh in contentment.
