In My Opinion
Extreme introvert Caitlyn steps outside of her comfort zone and onto a cruise ship. Her dream vacation appears doomed from the get-go. And that’s before she discovers her ex-fiance is sharing her stateroom. It takes circumstances beyond her control and a kind cruise director to get Caitlyn to take some calculated risks.
While I felt there was much deeper character development for Caitlyn than for Greg, mostly due to the vague nature of Greg’s conflict throughout most of the book, the connection with these two is undeniable. And I appreciated how Caitlyn and her ex ended their trips with a better understanding of each other.
Rachelle Paige Campbell gives readers a peek into cruise life as well as a handful of the wonders of Alaska. Love Overboard is also a story of stepping out of your comfort zone and realizing that some risks are worth taking.
