A witness with amnesia
Can she trust this Gold Country Cowboy with her life?
Tracy Wilson witnessed a murder—but after a head injury, she can’t remember what she saw. Now someone plans to silence her for good, and only cowboy Keegan Thorn believes her. With a killer after her at Christmas, Tracy is running out of time to remember…and falling dangerously hard for the cowboy who could break her heart.
In My Opinion
I’m a little bit sad to say goodbye to the Thorn family. It’s been fun getting to know these four cowboys (and Dana Mentink’s books) through this series. I knew the youngest Thorn brother who has a penchant for trouble was going to fall hard and fast—and Lost Christmas Memories does not disappoint.
When Tracy Wilson witness a murder and flees for her life, Keegan Thorn finds her trying to hide in the woods. Then she loses pieces of her memory and can’t identify the killer or thoroughly explain what happened.
The chip on Keegan Thorn’s shoulder is deep. Despite being adopted into a loving home with three brothers and a mom and dad who love him, he has never forgotten that someone else didn’t want him. And that plays into how he views the people from his other (biological) family.
From the first pages, readers are taken on a wild ride through the California foothills with danger lurking everywhere. There are also some sweet moments which show the influence the Thorn family has truly had on Keegan over the years.
This series comes full circle as it started at Christmas and ends at Christmas with some big celebrations. Plus, the Love Inspired authors know how to write great Christmas reads (even when the main characters are fighting for their lives).
